Thermally modified wood

Thermally modified wood is wood thermally processed by a special technology which is especially highly valued by architects, interior designers and end users because of its longevity and exceptional aesthetic qualities.

Wood paneling processed using this technology are used to construct outdoor terraces, fences, facades and light structures.

It is important that chemicals harmful to the environment are not used during production of this wood; therefore, the final product is 100% organic.

Production process

The process of production of thermally modified wood includes three stages. In the first stage, wood is dried by increasing its temperature. In the second phase, the moisture content of wood is reduced to nearly zero. Maximum processing temperature and duration are selected in this stage depending on the desired characteristics of wood and final aesthetics aimed for. In the last stage, wood is cooled and moistened up to the desired result.
