Nordway® series
 
Company ESSPO offers two types of environmentally friendly de-icers: liquid and solid ones. Liquid de-icers are based on a formulation of potassium acetate or potassium formate with added unique corrosion inhibitors. Products are prepared and delivered for final usage in standard 50% concentration. Solid de-icers are based on a formulation of sodium acetate or sodium formate or blend of them with added unique corrosion inhibitors. Products are made and prepared for final usage.

Environmental properties
 
Tests, regarding environmental impact and toxicology information of liquid and solid products have been independantly performed according to the AMS (Aerospace Material Specification) standards and requirements by SMI (Scientific Material International) Inc. from USA. All Nordway series products are non toxic to animals, humans and aquatic organisms. ESSPO, UAB pays exclusive attention to environmental issues and usually is trying to improve its internal processes awaring the impact to the environment.

Nordway® series products satisfies all international certificates for safety, corrosion prevention, impact to the environment, humans, animals and aquatic organisms as well as pavement surfaces. The tests are made according to AMS 1431C and AMS 1435B standards by SMI Inc.
